Type 1 Diabetes has a lot of frustrating things in it. There’s the fact that it’s deadly, low and high blood sugar, the lack of freedom, the lack of compassion and the lack of understanding. But one of the most frustrating things about this disease is the lack of attention that it gets.

The Average Joe 
You continue to amaze us. You sacrifice your own time to help others and to raise awareness. You are the picture of kindness and we admire your dedication to your own health and the health of others. And you are RIGHT!!! There should be more education and awareness about T1D. If there were, I think there would be a lot more compassion for people living with this disease. đź’™
