How We Ended Up With Her

So, we did not even plan to get her. We swore on not getting a dog until we moved, but fate kinda didn’t agree with that. We were going to the movies to see “The Martian”. As we were driving there, we realized that we left an hour early. I had remembered that there was a Petco nearby, so I suggested that we go there to look around. When we went there we saw that there were puppy adoptions out front. We looked around and then we saw Vegas. We recently lost our other Chihuahua, Piccino a few months earlier. When my mom looked at Vegas she ran into Petco crying. We talked to the lady that was holding her, and we were actually considering it. She was a shy little puppy that would just sit in the blankets and stare with her shiny black eyes. We actually started talking about adopting her! They took her to our house to make sure that she would adjust well, and then the next thing we knew, we had another dog.

Faker!

A few days after adopting her, Vegas started to show her true colors. She would start chasing around and nibbling on our Golden Retriever, who is her best bud. She also would start to bark non-stop. A little bit later, she would start stealing stuff. I first noticed it when I saw her dragging my phone across the couch. Now she steals stuff like remotes, granola bars, and.. lemons? We are beginning to think that she tricked us…
